FKM Expand Their Team; Gavan Quinlan Joins as Project Manager
On the 1st Nov 2012 Gavan Quinlan joined the FKM team to expand their team of project managers.
Gavan studied Construction Management at Waterford Institute of Technology, graduating with an honours degree in 1994. Gavan is a chartered surveyor (MSCSI), a corporate member of the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB) and holds post-graduate qualifications in project management, construction law and surveying.
Initially working as a graduate engineer with John Sisk, Gavan relocated to the UK where he spent 5 years with Interior plc (now Interior Services Group), the UK’s largest fit-out management contractor, working on key projects in London for clients including British Telecom, Credit Suisse, Royal & Sun Alliance & Mobil Oil. In 2000 Gavan relocated back to Ireland, working for leading PM consultancies including Project Management Group & Davis Langdon. His experience has brought him into contact with clients in the commercial property, pharmaceutical and industrial sectors and include Takeda, Organon, Intel, AON & Bank of Ireland Asset Management.

BNP Paribas Securities Services Successfully Migrate to Trinity Point, Leinster Street South
On Friday 19th October 2012 BNP Paribas Securities Services successfully moved to Trinity Point, Leinster Street South. FKM led this project and we proud to have delivered this sustainable project to Paul Daly Stephen Jacobs and their team. We are delighted to also announce the projects short listing for sustainable project of the year at the fit-out awards and also in its short listing in the category of client of the year.
FKM Successfully Complete BNP Dublin Branch Data Centre (August 2012)
The FKM Mission Critical Team successfully completed a Data Centre for BNP Paribas Dublin Branch. This fast track project included fully redundant UPS systems, fire suppression systems to a very robust client specification.
The project concluded with a Full Integrated Systems Test & Validation that was fully witnessed and signed off by the client team.
Realex Payments Move to the Observatory Building
On Friday 4th May 2012 Realex’s Payment took possession of their new space on the 3rd floor at the Observatory Building, Sir John Rogersons Quay, Dublin 2. FKM are deligted to have been involved in this 18,000 sq.ft project which was Designed and Project Managed by FKM. This Indigenous Irish company are proud of their growth to date and continued success. All at FKM would like to congratulate Colm Lyon, Paul Davey and all their team on their move and wish them every continued success for the future.
