Our cohesive in house team consists of project managers, architects,  engineers and surveyors who have extensive experience and skills. Our longest serving team member has been with the Group for over 40 years.

    Executive Chairman

    Matt studied Engineering, graduating in 1986 with an Honours Degree from Trinity College, Dublin.

    Matt joined FKM, being appointed to the Board in 1989 and led a management buy-out of FKM Engineering in 1992.

    Matt has been instrumental in the vision and development of The FKM Group and has grown the Group from its origins as a building services contractor into a comprehensive facilities solutions company.

    Matt’s role as Executive Chairman will facilitate the on-going development of the Group Strategy and the nuturing of key FDI relationships.  Matt, as a co-founder of Ireland Gateway to Europe will continue to lead one of Ireland’s first private led initatives, being a not-for profit collective of Irish service providers to showcase Ireland as Europe's premier investment location through events in the US.

    Matt was recently appointed to the National Executive Team for Temple Street Foundation for Temple Street Children’s Hospital.

  • Lorraine Carlisle E-Mail Linkedin

    Chief Executive Officer

    Lorraine graduated with a first class degree in Accounting and Finance from Liverpool John Moores University in 1994.

    Lorraine joined PriceWaterhouseCoopers (“PwC”) where she specialised in Audit, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in the UK.  From there she moved to PwC Dublin’s Transaction Services department, specialising in mergers / acquisitions / MBO’s and IPO’s.  Lorraine transferred to industry, having been seconded to TDG Plc, a logistics company, to assist with change management and was swiftly promoted to Finance Director.

    In 2011, Lorraine joined The FKM Group as a Board Director to assist in continuing to strengthen The FKM Group and adapting to our client’s ever changing needs in the workplace.  Lorraine’s wide range of professional skills gained in senior management positions has provided further breadth and depth of expertise to our senior management team over the past 5 years.

    In February 2016 Lorraine was appointed to Group CEO to motivate and lead the Senior Leadership Team in developing and implementing the Group’s strategy, whilst also managing the overall financial and operational strategies of The FKM Group.

  • Bob Gallagher E-Mail Linkedin

    Operations Director

    Bob studied Construction Economics (Quantity Surveying) at W.I.T. and graduated in 1993, he has a BSc (Hons) in Construction Project Management.

    Bob, with almost 20 years of project and contract management experience has worked as a Project Manager/Quantity Surveyor.  Bob excelled in his career to Contracts Manager by 1996, with his most recent experience being with Parson Building Services, where he managed multiple fast track fit out projects from shell and core to turnkey units.

    Bob joined The FKM Group as part of the Senior Leadership Team in 2013 where his key areas of responsibility include the management of all fit out projects from construction to handover, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.  Bob is also the Director responsible for ensuring our rigorous Health and Safety and Quality procedures are adhered to at all times.

    Bob now leads the operations of the group ensuring Client’s expectations are met via effective procurement and efficient programmes supported through rigorous pre-qualification of the supply chain.  Bob ensures FKM’s dedication to quality and Health and Safety via our ISO and Safe T cert accredition is paramount.

  • Brian McDonnell E-Mail

    Contracts Director

    Brian McDonnell has been with FKM since 1969 starting as an apprentice with the company. Throughout his apprenticeship Brian showed great potential and ability in mastering his craft.

    He became a foreman shortly after finishing his term as an apprentice. Brian continued to excel in his ability to run major projects and it was not long before he was elevated to the position of Contracts Manager. In this role he completed prestigious projects such as Citibank Headquarters,O2 Headquarters, Smithfield Mixed Development, State Laboratories, Forest Laboratories and all the eBay & PayPal projects in Ireland.

    He was appointed Contracts Director in 2011. Brian is our longest serving team member after 43 years of service and is an experienced trusted safe pair of hands.

    Brian is responsible for the ongoing management and development of the Engineering Contracting division of FKM. 

     

  • David Kelleher E-Mail

    Director

    David Kelleher is a Director of The FKM Group and has been an external advisor to the Group through his position in Warren Private. David continues to be an external advisor and joined the FKM board of directors in 2011.

    As a career summary David joined Warren Private in 2005 from Bank of Ireland Private Banking, where he spent three years as Head of Business Development. Previously, he spent 12 years working in a number of different lending and business development roles within Ulster Bank Business and Corporate Banking. This included time working as a lender in Ulster Bank’s Corporate Property Division, providing investment and development finance for large-scale Irish property investors and developers.

    David as Director gives the other board members the guidance and support that is required to grow the business whilst ensuring their vision is focused in their objectives and business planning strategies.

  • Fiona Mulhall E-Mail

    Director 

    Fiona Mulhall graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Trinity College Dublin in 1990. Fiona’s career commenced working in the engineering/manufacturing industry for Ring Gard, where her role focused on implementing quality systems, production quality and process improvement. 

    Fiona moved on to working for several FDI multinationals including Motorola, NCR and Solectron. She worked initially in site set up for new product lines and Production Quality Control. Fiona led the implementation, auditing and maintenance of several Environmental, Quality and HR Management Systems.

    Fiona progressed into consultancy focusing primarily on Management Systems Implementation and Auditing including the ISO 9000/15000 series, and Product and Process Quality Improvement Systems to a number of indigenous and multinational companies.  

    Fiona’s role within FKM focuses on quality control and management systems implementation where she brings a vast wealth of experience to ensure that both internal and external project governance systems are designed and implemented to ensure we give our clients the best service possible.
