The brief for the space included predominantly open plan desks with various types of meeting and break out spaces incorporating the client’s audiovisual requirements.
An office that provided a high-end contemporary feel which welcomed staff was at the heart of the brief for Amtrust’s new office space at the recently refurbished 6-8 College Green.
As this was an existing building, a key constraint was the low floor to ceiling heights. Through the minimal installation of partitions, use of a soft colour palette and exposing the services where possible, light was drawn into the space. Planting and wood panelling were incorporated throughout the space to enhance the employees’ wellness and connection to nature.
Due to the project’s location in a busy city centre location, meticulous project management was crucial to its success.
The result is a space that seamlessly combines functionality with a sophisticated contemporary design.
