The client wanted to create areas for their staff to collaborate, break out and work in teams in a social environment.
Scope of work
The project involved the general refurbishment of the ground floor, the creation of a new office, meeting room and open plan areas, with the capacity to remain the same as the existing layout. This included creating an extended breakout area, relocation of the main meeting rooms, the creation of a pharmacy and open piazza areas at reception, the inclusion of a mothers room and refurbishment of the existing meeting space.
Unique challenges of the project
Work was completed in an occupied building over two phases to accommodate the staff needs during the project. Our site teams’ methodology was carefully thought out to mitigate noise and dust and mitigate disruption to staff.
